MISSION AND VISION
The main mission of the Press, Public Relations and Publicity Coordinatorship is to develop an understanding in line with the core values and scientific principles of Izmir Bakırçay University and to carry out the communication activities of the university in a professional manner. Within the framework of this mission, the Coordinatorship focuses on promoting the academic achievements, scientific studies and activities that contribute to the society in the most effective way. In addition, it considers it among its primary duties to announce the scientific, sociocultural and sports activities carried out by the units affiliated to the university and students to the target audiences in an accurate and effective manner. These activities aim both to strengthen the institutional image of the university and to establish a stronger bond with the society.
The main vision of the Coordinatorship is to support Izmir Bakırçay University in achieving its national and international goals by conveying its corporate identity features to the public in an accurate, clear and understandable manner. In this context, communication and promotion strategies are developed to make the university's leadership in education, success in research and development activities and social contributions visible. The Coordinatorship not only promotes current achievements, but also aims to convey the values, culture and vision of the university to a wide audience. These efforts, which are carried out through both traditional media and digital platforms, are carried out within the scope of a long-term vision to increase the reputation and recognition of the university.
